Job Details:
  • Administration of the personnel under their charge with leadership.
  • Senior member of the APU teams at the site. Focal for schedules and discussions on delivery commitments with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design, validation, implementation and tracking of metrics to achieve department goals. Analyze demand according to the installed capacity of the plant effectively. Negotiation with the customer to mitigate fluctuation in demand, avoiding poor production performance or customer dissatisfaction.
  • Work with supervisors in other departments to determine progress and commitment dates, escalating issues, risks or challenges with appropriate leaders.
  • Effective communication of expedites including urgent demand control and monitoring of the indicators defined by the area for compliance with the production plan.
  • Coordinate actions where we are outside of program goal alignment.
  • Work within the ERP regularly, reacting intuitively according to fluctuations in demand and supply.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with one's own feedback.
  • Manage communication, alignment and status of production with the master production scheduler.
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities and actively participate both as a leader and collaborator in the objectives of continuous improvement at the site.
  • Maintain the production control operating system enabling accurate, predictable performance.
  • Ensure that they and their team adhere to the health, safety and environmental measures necessary at the site.
  • Promote and Participate in the Flight Safety Culture (SMS).
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Industrial Engineer.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with 4 years in the aerospace industry.

Computer Skill:
  • ERP Systems hands-on expertise is a must.
  • M3 or equivalent ERP Knowledge.
Other Skills:
  • Knowledge of Production Planning and Production Scheduling best practices and principles is required.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of Project Management.
  • Identifying problems working with teams to solve through leading actions collaboratively.
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Previous supply chain/purchasing/sourcing experience.
  • APICS certification is highly desirable.
  • Amazon AWS analytics knowledge highly desirable.
